Here's why...

Being a fellow Malaysian,

I flocked over and smiled.

*it sounds kinda creepy but I did it in a non-creepy way.

We went for Capoeira and we did some fun stuff today.

Not definitely very successful but still fun.

After that,

we went for food.

MALAYSIAN food.

This is called patriotism. 

I'm just glad I made new girl friends. 

In time.

Have you ever held something so tight that you couldn't let go?

Or put so much trust into one thing,

yet knowing it isn't in your control.

Or ask why such things are allowed to happen.

Or why certain things thing turn out differently from your intentions.

Many ask this questions.

I know it hurts.

Yet I know there are so much greater things to come.

For I know the God I believe in is greater than all things.

And if He can move mountains,

you know damn well He can move your burden.

Just maybe.

Maybe if I were a little bit thinner.

Maybe if I had longer hair.

Maybe if I was one inch taller.

Maybe you'll notice, 

Maybe you'll stare.

Maybe if I wore glamorous dresses,

Maybe if my face wore more make-up than skin,

Maybe if I acted more like a lady,

and both my thighs not like gelatin. 

But maybe all the problems we see,

are far from importance in reality.

For despite of all our tiny flaws,

Many love us,

 without needing a cause.

For love that's given without expectation,

is love in its finest form of creation.

The best things are free.

VOILA! 

We made crepes today.

Don't ask why.

We're cool like that liddat!

First, prepare elements.

Obviously, tidiness is not  requirement.

Then, pour the batter as glamorously as possible.

Try to keep batter within the pan

to avoid mess.

Spread whatever you want on your crepe.

Fold your crepe into an origami swan.

JOKING!

It's late. I'm lame. Life goes on.

There you have it.

A perfect-in-its-own-way crepe.

touchy touchy

I went to teach swimming today.

And after class, 

I headed off to the shower.

This is when things get interesting.

There was this chinese mother who walked in with her

4 year-old daughter.

The mum had a strong chinese accent,

her daughter on the other hand spoke fluent english.

even with an Australian accent.

The little girl looked mix though.

The mum kept hassling the little girl to hurry.

"Ah girl! Can you hurry aaa..

JUST TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES NOW!"

The moment she said that,

the shower stopped.

And out came the little girl,

dripping wet.

She looked at her mum and said..

I just laughed silently.

Be my punching bag?

I tried boxing today!

It was a lot of fun and I had the most entertaining partner.

He called me Muhammad Ali.

*shakes head*

Through out all the punching sets he kept saying..

and I would just laugh and ruin the whole set.

Game face gone.

Nevertheless, 

I must say I did pretty well.

Maybe I should even change a new profile picture...

Anyways,

here is the story of what happened today.

My alarm went off around 8.30.

I happen to have one that sounds like a fire alarm.

Think I should change it,

I wake up feeling slightly stressed out every morning.

Then I did my normal morning routine.

1. Brush my teeth

2. Wash my face

3. Take a dump

4.Comb my hair (optional)

By the time I was ready,

It was 9.20.

10 minutes till the lecture started...

"TO INFINITY.. AND BEYOND!"

However,

When i reached (at 9.30), there was nobody there.

So strange...

Open the laptop..

Click my schedule...

Open my eyes...

GOODNESS GRACIOUS!

"the early bird catches the worm"

What a lie.

I tried this Brazilian martial art thingy called Capoeira. 

It was really a great work out...at the start,

but I couldn't feel much of my body towards the end.

I ended up in bed with fuzzy shoes and funky pants

for quite a while. 

Movement was no longer an option.

OH YEA,

I have also recently been making use of Facetime.

Must say,

Wonderful creation...

hmm..

It really feels great blogging again.

There's so much going on in my head,

good venue to let it out.

So,

 considering I have slacked.

Well, I've been on holiday and my blog decided to take a vacation too.

BUT I'M BACK!

Well, 

here it goes.

Sometimes, I even feel like I'm actually there.

With all the wonderful food.

I guess the constant longing 

to go home isn't so easily explained.

and..

and...

Though they are all FANTABULOUS and

I miss them so so so much...

I guess its just a sense of place.

Security. Familiarity.

Being here is a blessing.

Right now,

going home is a longing.
